AN INVITATION TO COMMUNITY AND COLLABORATION
The SEAD Project believes in the inherent goodness, wisdom and power of community. The SEAD Project believes in co-created, thoughtful spaces for storytelling, curiosity, and dynamic exchange and we aspire for our Community Forum to be such a space.
We aspire for this Community Forum (CF) to be a space where community members can express themselves openly. We invite anyone who wants to hear and or share multiple perspectives on the history, present realities and future vision and role for The SEAD Project as an ongoing resource for SEA communities.
In a world where "content" can always be revised and social media can put more importance on followings over relationships, The SEAD Project understands that the organization's reputation is equal parts posted narrative and things not publicly shared.
SEAD has rapidly transitioned to an entirely new team since last summer. This transition is on top of inheriting the previous operations which included internal restructuring, employee handbook design, and seeking Human Resource assets.
Our team has been deliberate in our internal work in learning and growing together. There have been processes of reflection and actions that SEAD has been taking to reimagine and improve our organizational structure and internal processes to reflect the importance of each person who is a part of building SEAD up to be a better resource for our growing communities.
We are doing our best to address and learn from our mistakes, shortcomings, and humanity as we strive for restoration, a collective vision of rebuilding, and community-informed action and care.
