‘Tis the Season for Change & Renewal

It’s the season of transitions and we’re inviting you to help us get into this next chapter together. We need your help now more than ever to grow our village of teachers, storytellers, artists, and healers that make up our SEAD ecosystem. Since 2011, we’ve been changing the way we do creative community building through language, storytelling, and gathering.

It takes a village to raise $20,000 before the end of the year.

Our work is critical and gets at the root of changing narratives and growing imaginations through storytelling and our cultural assets. As cultural organizers, we’ve pivoted to responding to our Southeast Asian diaspora communities during their greatest time of need through what we know and do best.

Here’s a look at what we’ve done so far.

Will you join the village?

We invite you to join in the #RaiseOurRoots movement by donating to our work so we can keep thriving. We’re doing away with the gala this year to celebrate your support and community. Any contribution level is appreciated and we’ll show you our gratitude with goodies.

$20,000 will go towards sustaining our team and strengthening our work.

Our impact this year, so far...

  • 10,000+ reached with our programs, initiatives, and campaigns
  • 1,000+ care packages to families
  • 500+ PPEs to BIPOC organizations and community members
  • $15,000+ financial aid to impacted youths and families
  • Growing our cultural organizing work
