SIGN UP FOR OUR SPRING LANGUAGE WORKSHOPS

This spring, we will be hosting beginners courses in our SEA Roots: Language Workshops. Our online classes in Hmong, Khmer, Lao & Vietnamese are an excellent way to connect to your heritage, build up your skills, and learn something new!

ABOUT
THE SEAD PROJECT

We see the diasporic Southeast Asian community taking steps beyond heritage beyond preservation. We’re growing a diaspora movement.

PROGRAMS

SEAD sees a reimagined world that is culturally just, creatively sustainable, and socially empowering for Southeast Asian diaspora voices, agency and self-determination. SEAD’s main programs are under three focus areas: SEA Heritage & Languages (SEA Roots), Narrative Storytelling (Planting SEADS) and Leadership Development (SEA Change Lab).

SOON

Inside SEAD’s creative lab, we’re exploring the intersection of culturally-centered design and just storytelling. Soon is both a creative shop and studio, where we craft literary and visual storytelling for social good.

RESOURCES

When it comes to the Southeast Asian diaspora, we share a borderless peoplehood with uprooted histories and beautiful rich stories.

FUNDRAISING

Thank you to community who attended our last gala, featuring Southeast Asian storytellers and performance artists! Our sincerest gratitude as well to our sponsors! Stay tuned for the next opportunity to support our work.
